Project developed in the scope of the curricular unit of Multimedia II, where the goal was the creation of a free theme project that was developed with HTML and CSS.
The Plastic Talk project was created for the Multimedia II curricular unit, where it was necessary to approach a polemic theme and, besides building a website, it was also necessary to approach the editorial part, that is, to build the platform texts in a critical way.
Thus, the theme that was chosen, as the name indicates, was that of plastic, which is one of the subjects that causes more environmental problems and generates a lot of controversy. Thus, other solutions that replace the use of plastic were presented, as well as what plastic is made of and its life cycle. The main objective was to make people aware of the toxicity of this material and that, even if we recycle it, nothing guarantees that its destination will not be nature.
To implement the website we used HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap 4. As we wanted people to be able to comment on the "news" published and we were not using a database, we used Disqus. Click here to access the project.
